When do bookings open for summer 2027?
As of 31 October 2026, CTN has not yet announced the date for summer 2027. For summer 2026, bookings on the Marseille and Genoa routes opened on Tuesday 16 December 2025 at 10 am, a week after the announcement. If the calendar repeats, expect an opening in mid-December 2026.
The most popular dates (late June, July, returns in late August) go in the first few days. Before bookings open, have your dates, the number of passengers, the car's plate and papers ready.
This page will be updated as soon as CTN announces the official date.

How much does it cost?
On Marseille–Tunis, a one-way trip with a car and its driver usually costs €460 to €530 outside peak times, and can exceed €1,400 in high summer (average prices seen in 2026).
For summer 2026, CTN announced discounts of up to 40% for early bookings. These fares are limited and go first.
The price for the whole family depends on the number of passengers, the cabin and the date. The calculator adds everything up – ferry, driving, fuel – and compares it with flying.

Run the numbersOur tips for booking well
- Compare Genoa and Marseille: from eastern France, Switzerland, Germany or northern Italy, Genoa–Tunis is often cheaper, even with the drive.
- Avoid the peaks: departures in late June and early July, and returns in late August, are the most expensive. Moving by a few days can change the price a lot.
- Check the other lines: GNV also sails from Genoa, Corsica Linea from Marseille, and Grimaldi links Civitavecchia, Salerno and Palermo with Tunis.
- Check your papers before paying: a valid passport for each passenger, the original registration document, insurance valid in Tunisia (green card).
- Prepare customs online: our customs guide explains Rukhsti, Amti and the currency declaration.
- Get to the port early: CTN asks passengers to arrive at least 4 hours before departure.
